Thanks, Hi, yes it's normal. Most of the windows mobile smartphones and ppc's i've used had that limitation.
Guest JMOLINA1368 Posted May 9, 2007 Report Posted May 9, 2007 Thanks for the info, however the HTC S620 did zoom at max res. so I don think its suppose to work that way. Regards.
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted May 9, 2007 Report Posted May 9, 2007 It makes sense tho right? If you zoom at max res, bearing in mind there is no optical zoom, all it's doing is enlarging the image and losing quality. At less than max res, then zoom can actually work without reducing quality. P
Guest Griff_FFOC Posted May 10, 2007 Report Posted May 10, 2007 yeah, the C600 works the same way. Far better to take the pic, and reduce/zoom using something like Photoshop. You'll get a much better result than letting the phone do it.

The Sony phone I used had an amazing camera! I just took some video for the first time on the E650 and I must say I'm very disappointed! I know that Smart phones aren't designed to be mobile walkmans and digital cameras, but the technology is easily available to have fitted and its always better to have! The new Nokia phone for example, which I believe is supposed to be a smart phone competitor has a 5 Mega pixel camera! So there really is no excuse.
