WM6 on Tmobile dash email/text message issue

So I finally updated and I am loving wm6 so far. Everything is great minus this little problem.

I set up my email using the app on the dash. I thought everything was fine until I recieved a text message for my emails. I used to have the same problem with my Moto phone. Anyway, does anyone know the fix or something that might help?

Oh on a side note, does anyone know if the wm5 skins for the home screen work, I've been using the mac osx homescreen and I like it much better then the wm6 skin.lol
