Car Stereo (Sony MEX-BT2500) and the Hermes

I saw an ad recently for this bluetooth car stereo.

Sony MEX-BT2500

The thing that appeals is that it has A2DP built in as well as being able to take calls. Ideal for me as I mainly listen to podcasts while driving.

So, before I buy, anybody got one of these and used it with a Hermes? What were the results - good/bad?

I have the hermes and the MEX-BT2500.

The phone portion of it works great, but i am having problems with the streaming audio.

functionally, it works (the control buttons on the radio control the phone), but there is no sound. i checked the bluetooth audio level setting on the radio and it is fine.

any suggestions?

i went into bestbuy where i purchased the deck. i went up do the display model and linked up to it without a problem. i went back to the installer and had them put in a new deck and we had the same problem. then he realized that there was an amplifier built into the car. hooked up another wire, and the thing works freakin great!!!!!

one thing though, can you use tomtom on the vario at the same time ? how many bluetooth connections can you make
