Having had this upgrade for just over a week now, things are looking up! I was very frustrated getting used to the new layout etc however things seem to be runnning relatively smoothly now (touch wood!).

I want to change the tones that the phone has for incoming texts etc with tones I have downloaded from varius places and have tried adding the sound files so that I can use them via various methods to no avail. When I say that, I can get them to go into the media folder, but does anyone know how I get them into the correct folder that enable activation of the different sounds from the sound notification / notifcation screen. I'm getting really frustrated by this!

Any advice would be gratefully received......... thanks in anticipation.

Hi

for alerts like texts then place then required WAV into the widows folder and ring tones in the rings folder which is in the widows folder of you device. Or buy one of the many Applications that offer a simple interface to organize tunes

also the wav files for alarm tones and message tones have to be less than 10 seconds long from wot I can get to work

I use a program called Ease Converter, it offers a free trial
