camera problem

hello to everyone,

I have problem with my hermes. when I start camera my hermes just show dark screen, sometimes it show dark screen with lines across. when I take picture it is smaller than 1kb and it can't be opened. when I close camera, lines are still there.

what can it be?

I'm guessing, but is there anything obstructing the lens on the back of the phone?

.. Failing that it could be a dud camera on the phone?

.. Is the phone configured to use the front camera and is that camera obstructed??

front camera is worknig fine... look at the picture third picture... there is still lines across the screen even when camera is off...

Taken any knocks or drops recently?

Looks like a warrenty (or carrier insurance) job, the lines indicate some sort of hardware failure, whether it's the camera or the screen I'm not sure, but seeing as the 2 are linked it could be either.

Just to rule out software problems you could do a hard reset (all your data will be lost though, so back it up first) and then see if it works after it's finished it's out-of-the-box setup. I'd say it was hardware issue though.
