Guest ltscunner Posted May 15, 2007 Report Posted May 15, 2007 (edited) I've a VarioII and am looking to get a Bluetooth headset to connect both to it and my laptop. I'm currently in Poland and came across a BT 2,0 headset for about 30 quid (can't remember make). Will this include A2DP? I've seen a couple of posts that assume it's included in this version of Bluetooth, but I just need to be sure. Also, do I need to do anything to my VarioII to get it to work and similarly, is there a recommended BT software package for my laptop (XP Pro SP2)? ROM version on my VarioII is 1.21.110.3, date 19th June 2006 Thanks for any help. Edited June 13, 2007 by ltscunner

But a bog standard Vario II has bad quality over Bluetooth. Windows Mobile 6 fixed that for me.
Guest Kippax Posted June 3, 2007 Report Posted June 3, 2007 But a bog standard Vario II has bad quality over Bluetooth. Windows Mobile 6 fixed that for me. Funny you should mention that. I bought a pair of Motorola BT H/phones to listen to music and was so dissapointed (It was no better than mono) I have left the headphones gathering dust on the shelf ever since. Some experimentation is required...........Once I get my handset back ...
Guest ltscunner Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 (edited) Yaay replies at last  Many thanks to UndeadDevil and kippax for their replies. Sounds like it was a good idea in theory but probably not so good in practise. I'll wait a bit and see if T-mobile ever get round to releasing an upgrade for the Vario II or has it already been released and I've missed it. Thanks again Edited June 13, 2007 by ltscunner
