HELP! Contacts get deleted!!!

Hello

Anyone ever experienced this issue?:

I try to dial a contact by looking for his name, many time a week I'm experiencing I can find a call made to that contact but not the contact itself!! It's like I manually deleted infact is has been deleted also in my outlook!

I've tried removing contacts sync in activesync and after some tests I defiinitively realized this happen on the samsung...

Please help! what would you suggest? hard reset of the phone? I don't have so much running stuff on it, just Goodlink, Keypad lock, gprs monitor.

Hard Reset is a good place to start, but it can be a pain.

If you have any backup software you could run that first so that you can quickly get your phone back to how it was.

Hard Reset

Add the cotact back into Outlook

Sync your device

Call the contact

Check to see if it's still there

I've never heard of problems like this.

Are you sync'ing via USB or over the air to an Exchange server?

I think the contacts are there. The only thing is that you are not able to search for them using keyboard. Please see my post for the new issue statement. As for your contacts dont do any letter search just scroll down.
