Guest tomfloate Posted May 16, 2007 Report Posted May 16, 2007 Hi I have just bought an S710 and I have a couple of questions ... 1) How do I get the phone to auto-keylock, for instance if the phone is inactive for 30 seconds I want it to lock ... I cannot find the option anywhere (sure I am being stupid here though) 2) I do not have Exchange but have a POP3/SMTP email account. This is on my Outlook on my PC however I want to receive these emails on my phone and then sync back to my PC at the end of the day ... is there anyway I can accomplish this? I have got it sync'd to Outlook but I do not believe that it will send unless I ActiveSync, I do not beleive I can receive messages this way either on the go unless I ActiveSync ... any suggestions? Thanks Tom
Guest taffer Posted May 19, 2007 Report Posted May 19, 2007 Have you looked through this: Start>Settings>Security>Device Lock? I think it'll require you to use a PIN though. I'm forced to use it since I'm using Exchange push email, so I'm not sure. Regardless, you can set your phone to lock at a minimum of 1 minute idling. Also, check this software out: http://maniac.fschreiner.de/index.php?opti...8&Itemid=19 I've never used it, so I'm not sure how well it works. I hope that helps.
Guest afeuer Posted May 28, 2007 Report Posted May 28, 2007 I use Autlock as per the below - works like a charm. Have you looked through this: Start>Settings>Security>Device Lock?
