Hello All!

I'm stuck, I have got a SPV E650 and for the life of me can't get custom notifications to be listed under the sounds apllet...

I have tried sticking them under windows, rings, ny documents etc etc but they don't get listed!?

I have even changed them from WMA to WAV and still no luck!?

I can us my ringtones but just can't get new notification sounds to be seen?

Any ideas lads?

as far as i know you can only use mp3 as additional notification sounds. on my s710 they work, but other file formats dont.

Disco Stu is right on as per!!

Can be wav or WMA and store in the application data\sounds folder

Actually I was lucky there was no change in WM06.

Just got mine today and had it plugged into my work PC but didn't think to check before posting ! :rolleyes:

if you put your sounds into the my documents folder on the sd card the phone finds them without a problem :rolleyes:

Well that's odd because on mine if you leave them in the my odcs folder you can only set them as ringtones ands nothing else

I did not know how to get activesync'd tones to be used as alarm tone. I tried the suggestion to place them in the folder application/sounds and, yes it does work !

Just the answer I was looking for, thanks I am away to find some good tunes now LOL x
