Windows Live Hotmail push email

So I followed http://blogs.msdn.com/mayurk/archive/2007/...mobile-6-0.aspx to set up push email on my E650.

My connection to Windows Live and Live Hotmail does work, but I couldn't get it to keep a steady connection up and running. Each time after I went into options to check that it was set correctly to "as items arrive" it would do a single email sync and find any new emails, but other than that it would sit still and use the odd few KB GPRS data but wouldn't get any email pushed.

Manual sync using the Windows Live app would work perfectly, but obviously that's not the point :rolleyes:

Anyone know if some additional setting is needed on the E650 in addition to the instructions provided in the url above?
