Camera doesn't work

I wanted to use the camera yesterday but when I pressed the camera button, the application didn't start up. I've tried every which way to get the program to work but everytime I select it nothing happens. Any help would be greatly appreciated - thanks!

It's not just a button you can just press. You actually have to hold it down for 3 to 5 seconds. :rolleyes:

I may be new to this board, but I'm not new to technology - I know you have to hold the button, I should have made that clearer in my first post. Sorry.
