Syncing with Media Player

Hi,

There's an option in Windows Media player that lets you reserve space on a storage device, (ie the 1Gb Micro SD card i have in my Orange M3100) for use by other programs, (Sync->[card name]-> Advanced Options). This looks like a useful option as I've got a couple of other apps that use the storage card, and I don't want all the space filled with MP3s stopping other apps from working. However, this option is greyed out, and i can't see how to turn it on. Is this just something that can't be done with the M3100?

Alternatively, is there another method for syncing files other than manually selecting them? And what's the best mp3/video player for the device?
