Crackling noise when a playing sound is interrupted

Hi,

Last week I received my new S710. It's a great phone and much better than my previous one, a SPV C550 (HTC Hurricane).

There's only one thing that I don't like at this phone:

When there's playing a sound like a ringtone and you interrupt this by picking up the call there's a short crackling noise (krrgghh). Anybody else who is experiencing this with a S710/E650?

I had that problem on my phone but then it disapered, I think you could try to do what I did (that I think helped...) do a hard reset of the phone

If I remember correctly

Turn off the phone

Keep the left and right soft key pressed when turning on the phone

The press green button to reset

But remember you will loose all settings doing this

I've done a hard reset of the phone but that doesn't solve the problem. The noise is still there when a sound stops.

Sorry to hear that, maybe you have a hardware error after all
