Guest ghm101 Posted May 23, 2007 Report Posted May 23, 2007 (edited) I posted this here http://www.modaco.com/Bluetooth-Headsets-a...DP-t254179.html but like this headset so much I thought to share with a wider audience Using these Bluphones from gear4 with SPV e650 & above registry hacks described in the above thread. just got them today, sound great. support voice dialing. media player behaves itself with calling, - stops track, press to answer, end call = resume track. controls for next track, prev trac & pause all work. pairing was very easy. http://www.gear4.com/product_detail.php?products_id=304 they are 26g very unobtrusive. £50 supposed 5hrs playback/talk 60 hours standby, I will post back if not vaguely accurate maybe they could be louder but can't really complain for the size EDIT: - Volumne is actually good, I didn't have everything turned up ...hehe Pic attached give you an idea of how small they are Edited May 23, 2007 by ghm101

Guest ghm101 Posted May 24, 2007 Report Posted May 24, 2007 sweet - thanks i actually gave up on bluetooth stereo... too much trouble to pair every single time. but i only used them for short walks. if i was a commuter, i'd love 'em Not strictly true that you have to pair every time, but how to get them working again after switching off is not intuitive. -You turn on the phones bluetooth -Turn on the headset -Push the main Button on the headset that re-establishes headset mode - "set as hands free" Then you have to manually go into -Comm Manager -Settings -Bluetooth -1.Bluetooth (devices) -Select the Bluphones -Menu -4. Set as Wireless Stereo Have to agree that this fine when setting off for a 1 hour commute, but not something you want to do for a quick listen to something. Be good if you could speed dial this operation (like a macro?) or put some sort of custom function on a modded home screen to do this, but I don't know how. Used these tramping through Croydon rush hour and the sound is good, volume good enough to be heard next to a clanky tram, effective base & decent stereo quality, my non audiophile ears are quite happy. Forgot to mention, in the box 1. Headset 2. usb charging cord 3. spare set of different sized earbud nipple thingames so you pick the set that fits your lug holes best. 4. quick start guide & manual.
