SPVE650 Crashing and Timing Out Issues

Had my E650 a few days now, and i'm having concerns over its health already...

1. I've only put the SIM in, and turned it on and off a few times as i'm waiting for my other contract phone to finish before I start using it properly. I noticed a few times now, on startup, the phone just hangs - on the ORange splash screen. No reason at all, nothing is installed on the phone - the only way of resetting is taking out the battery, then usually it boots up fine. Any ideas? Shall i send back for a replacement?

2. When im in text messages or other apps on the phone, if i leave it for about 10 seconds, it closes down back to the Today screen. Is this a setting I have accidently turned on?

Any help, I would be very grateful.

hi, that's a known issue with this phone. not a solution by now.

regarding point 2 if you go to start->settings-> time out - change to never, that will do. :rolleyes:
