Guest Gerald.D Posted May 24, 2007 Report Posted May 24, 2007 Hi all - I'm thinking of changing from a Tytn to a Trinity, and was just wondering if anyone has done this and could comment on 'real world' differences they noticed? I'm comfortable to drop the keyboard for a slight increase in portability. My concerns would be more around things like the speed of the interface and battery life. TIA, Gerald.
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted May 24, 2007 Report Posted May 24, 2007 I did. Speed of UI and battery life are virtually identical (assuming you don't use the GPS), primarily since the internals are pretty much the same! I miss the keyboard a bit, but the better size, real stylus and GPS more than make up for it! I also miss the Hermes' dedicated hardware buttons for mail / IE a bit... P

Guest Gerald.D Posted May 27, 2007 Report Posted May 27, 2007 Wow. It's amazing how much of a difference those few millimetres make. Really loving the Trinity
Guest chingy213 Posted December 23, 2007 Report Posted December 23, 2007 I upgraded recently as well. Trinity is better overall, but nothing can compare to the full keyboard - i miss it :(
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted January 7, 2008 Report Posted January 7, 2008 I don't think I could live with a PPC sans-keyboard nowadays! P
