T-Mobile Dash Homescreen

I have modified the t-mobile dash homescreen and placed the music player at the bottom of the screen. I have also removed the horizontal lines on the homescreen. However, I can't seem to be able to remove the line below the music player plugin. Does anyone know how to make this line invisible?

Secondly, on the homescreen XML file below how do I make any of the colours transparent?
