GPRS overseas

I was recently in Israel, and tried using GPRS on my Dash with a local SIM card. I input all the appropriate settings, but still could not get a signal (although I appeared to get a brief signal once in a while). Is there something I should have set in addition to the "normal" settings?

When creating your new Israeli GPRS

connection did you acquire the Network's Access point?

Did you remember to select the Israeli GPRS connection? (Connections>Highlight GPRS>Menu>Advanced)
