i want to use my O2 genie SIM in my M600, when put in the phone a message says 'network locked, input code'

does anyone know what this code is?

That means that your phone is locked and you cannot use it with any other network than O2. In order to use it with other SIM you need to unlock it (and that usually means paying money).
