Guest sk8terboi1912 Posted May 30, 2007 Report Posted May 30, 2007 an Audiovox SMT5600? I want a program but haven't seen any yet.
Guest xeno1 Posted May 30, 2007 Report Posted May 30, 2007 You can use pretty much any video conversion software as long as you convert the video using a codec type that the video player you're using on your phone can play. Personally I use Super C. It's freeware. I've tried quite a few different coverters and it's one of the easiest, most intuitive converters that I've found.

It can read all sorts of files (including DVDs to rip the VOB files directly) and produce avi output that you can play using The Core Pocket Media Player (TCPMP). Look at http://www.autogk.me.uk/ and http://tcpmp.corecodec.org/download. Rob.

TCPMP is definately the way to go...as far as converting or encoding, go to http://www.pocketdivxencoder.net/. Pocket divx encoder is FREE just like TCPMP and works perfectly with it...Best of all, it has TONS of options and can automatically format your vid according to your specific phone or ppc...
Guest mandt Posted May 31, 2007 Report Posted May 31, 2007 Another vote here for the Pocket divx encoder and TCPMP combo works very well indeed
