Guest cossie Posted May 30, 2007 Report Posted May 30, 2007 Hi there. I recieved my S710 last (denmark) So far im very pleased with it. But one thing is wery anoying, i cant find out how to speel own words in the new xt9 dictionary?? It cant be that it is impossible to spell your own words?? /Jesper
Guest chucky.egg Posted May 30, 2007 Report Posted May 30, 2007 Judging by your typos, are you sure that's something you want to do? There is some trick that worked on WM5, where you type the words into an email on your PC, email it to yourself, open that email and reply, and it adds the words in. Or something like that anyway. You could try a search here and see if it works on WM6
Guest flight23 Posted May 30, 2007 Report Posted May 30, 2007 As far as I know from my WM phones: If the T9 doesn't know the word you want to type, change the input method to "abc" and write it that way. Afterwards switch back to xT9. Now the word should be inserted into the T9 library.

Stupid anoying way to do it :-( But then the next guestion, is there a way to edit the words you have entered in to the XT9?? on my old 8310 there was a menu for editing the dictionary?? And is the dictionary i file that you cold copy of the phono in case of a hard reset?? /Jesper
Guest chucky.egg Posted May 31, 2007 Report Posted May 31, 2007 Your English is better than my Danish, so no shame there at all.

Yeah , with the slide out keyboard, still in XT9, you can put one letter at a time, and the T9 will add any word it can't spell in its dictionnary this way. Ac for an Xt9 editor, there was one in WM5.0 in Wondows folder, it was like "t9editor.exe" or something similar... One thing weird in Wondows folder: I don't see Calcul.exe, the Calculator? I'm sure I used the calculator on my vox some weeks ago .... Can someone tell me wether there is one or no?
