Guest spider Posted May 30, 2007 Report Posted May 30, 2007 Got my Vox today...wauuuu  :P what a nice baby.. would like to know if it is possible to use the "grid to list view converter" that exist for 8310 (shown in the 8310 forum), and does it work for WM 6? I would like to change my view, but I don't dare to try and maybe stuff up things... So if any of you have any experience about this I would like to hear about it Thanks

Guest Rhinestone Posted May 31, 2007 Report Posted May 31, 2007 Using a registry editor go to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Shell\StartMenu View the Values (by selecting the Values soft key) and select the GridView key Change the Value data from 1 to Zero and then select done.
Guest spider Posted June 2, 2007 Report Posted June 2, 2007 thanks Rhinestone..works great
Guest Eldar2k Posted June 2, 2007 Report Posted June 2, 2007 Another question here. It worked all fine, thanks for that. But, there is this list menu, but on the white wallpaper. I know that smartphones with list view have different wallpapers, can I change it somehow, with white wallpaper it looks kind of ugly.

Try SmartToolkit (currently free) Application from http://www.e-natives.web.id/ It converts the icons into a proper Windows Start menu. It is still under development, but I've been using this for a while and it's far far better than any of the default Grid or List options that come with the Smartphones
Guest Thumper Net Posted June 6, 2007 Report Posted June 6, 2007 I use the grid menu app that came on my imate sp5 this works perfectly and i can change back and forth without hitting the registry :P as its from htc and i cannot find any copyright on the app here it is for you to enjoy  when installed it can be found in the accessories section :D
Guest matth Posted June 7, 2007 Report Posted June 7, 2007 got the list view sorted. but how do you get the list in the right order ? short answer is to use Jeyo Personaliser, which despite its interface being a bit all over the show (with the difference in screen size) does actually still re order the start menu which is well handy!
