Hello,

I've downloaded the connection-settings from my provider and everything worked fine(GPRS, MMS...). But suddenly, I don't now why, the button for data-connection in the CommManager - Application was disabled and I can't get it to work...

Any ideas?

I have a original HTC S710, no orange...

I assume the button you mean is the one mapped to the 6 key in CommManager?..

If so, it should only be selectable when there is an active GPRS/Edge connection.

If i have the wrong function then i apologize

In the middle of the upper top bar there is a G displayed, so I think there is a GPRS-connection available. I allready got an active GPRS-Connection, but suddenly it didn't work...

Any other ideas????

I really have the same problem:

I connect to the web (or for downloading emails) via GPRS. Just above of the icon where the signal strength is displayed, there is a small "G" indicating an active connection. So far all normal.

In CommManager I disconnect from the GPRS network (Button 6) and the small "G" at the signal strength icon disappears. As I am disconneted, Button 6 in CommManager is disabled. Still as normal.

But some minutes after I disconnected from GPRS, the small "G" above the signal strength icon appears again. When I try to disconnect via CommManager, Button 6 is still disabled. Although the small "G" is there, I think the connection is not active but I am not sure.

Does someone else has this problem and got it solved?

Help is very much appreciated. Thx.

Gordic
