2125: Change operator back to Cingular

I was wondering if there is any way to change the operator on the home screen to say Cingular permantely because I know the way they are changing the brand to AT&T is by updating the information on the SIM cards. but i'm thinking there might be something in the Registry that would allow you to set the operator to not get the info from the SIM.

I think that this will not work because the homescreen plugin shows the name of the network that is on SIM card. Normally it is not but when the operator changes name it is now stored on SIM card and I don't think that there is any way around it. I've tryed it with T-Mobile US with no success.

well the phone still has all the cingular brandings on it so i want the operator to say Cingular at least until there is a firmware up date that would change all the logos...i guess im kinda obcessive compulsive over things not matching
