Guest mstephenson Posted June 3, 2007 Report Posted June 3, 2007 I've been waiting the last couple weeks for the new £8 a month 'unlimited' Orange internet deals to come out. I thought this was due to happen on the 1st of June but so far nothing. I've checked the Orange site every day since the 1st-originally they still had the old packages listed, they've now taken those off but still no mention of the new offers. Does anyone know any further information on this?

Guest mstephenson Posted June 3, 2007 Report Posted June 3, 2007 Thanks for the link there Monolithix. I've been waiting on that deal and nearly decided to just get my contract anyway and add the package when it came out on the 1st June-thankfully I resisted temptation and waited to check what the deal was. How on earth are Orange passing 30mb as an unlimited deal?! And for heavy data users, the £1 a day genuinely unlimited add-on Orange offer is somehow better than the deal offered to customers willing to commit to an 18 month contract and pay an additional £8 a month. Why are pay as you go customers getting a better deal than contract customers? This is the final straw for me with Orange, I mean £7.50 for a gb with T-mob or £8 for 30mb on Orange-tough choice!
Guest Monolithix (MVP) Posted June 3, 2007 Report Posted June 3, 2007 The thing is they aren't actually billing it as unlimited, just "Anytime". (although the press release did imply it was unlimited...)
