Homes Screen Change on 3125. Easy??

I just ordered a Cingular 3125. While I was shopping at the local Cingular Store a guy working there had a 3125 with a totally different home screen on it. It gave the Forecast for the upcoming days emails and appointments coming up. He said a buddy of his installed some program to make the change. He said he no longer had the program. Maybe since he works at Cingular he couldn't hook me up with it?

Is this something easy to do or install. He gave me no hints on where to find something like this. I did find this: http://www.smartphone.net/software_detail....eid=279&id=3006 which is pretty close to what I am looking for but not quite the same. Plus it does say for the widescreen phones which the 3125 is not.

Any help or advise would be great!!

You can do this by putting various plugins on the homescreen. For example you can use Fizz Traveller to show weather. (www.fizzsoftware.com)
