Guest Hardz Posted June 6, 2007 Report Posted June 6, 2007 My MDA Vario (WM5) has Word Mobile, but I can't simply make notes using the stylus and save them because Word Mobile keeps changing them to text. My older MDA Compact (WM2003) had Pocket Word and I could save my written notes using the 'writting' tool within the program. Can someone suggest a freeware program that will allow me to make written notes and save then without converting to text. Thanks
Guest mandt Posted June 6, 2007 Report Posted June 6, 2007 Er...Notes  Start>Programs>Organiser>Notes ensure it's in drawing mode
Guest Hardz Posted June 7, 2007 Report Posted June 7, 2007 (edited) I decided to actually read the manual after I posted....and yep NOTES will do the job. Thanks. I was also looking at a freeware drawing program that required .NET 2 to be installed on the Vario. Does .Net take up a lot of program memory/space ? Edited June 7, 2007 by Hardz
Guest xeno1 Posted June 7, 2007 Report Posted June 7, 2007 .Net 2 takes up about 2 or 3 Mb, but you can install it to your SD card if you want. Theres also a program called pocket notes that will allow you to handwrite on your screen. There wasn't an organizer with notes on my MDA, so that might just be a carrier specific add on.
Guest Hardz Posted June 7, 2007 Report Posted June 7, 2007 Thanks. .Net can be removed without hard resetting, right ?
