Guest skinman_uk Posted June 8, 2007 Report Posted June 8, 2007 My Orange SPV m3100 touchscreen has decided to give up, this morning it was working but battery was very low since then the battery has flattened and this afternoon i put it on charge. It came on great but the touchscreen will not work at all, I did a Soft reset.....no joy, so did a Hard Reset still no joy. Been on to Orange CS but they couldn't give me any help at all. They said as I got it in August last year it is out of there 6 month warrenty period and is now under the HTC warrenty, gave me HTC number and said that HTC will sort it no problem for me Couple of questions: 1. Anyone had a similar problem and sorted the touchscreen out? 2. Anyone had a handset sorted out/replaced by HTC? Thanks
Guest homme.depoire Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 Anyone had a similar problem and sorted the touchscreen out? I appreciate that this is an old post but on the off chance anyone else is interested I've now had 3 reconditioned M3100's from Orange in the past 6 weeks. All of them have exhibited the same issue of a non-responsive screen (the reason I originally requested a replacement). I've finally persuaded them to give me a new handset so we'll see if that lasts a little longer......
Guest bacus Posted July 4, 2007 Report Posted July 4, 2007 Strange coincidence, but I had this happen too the other night. Soft and hard resets but still no joy. I ended up taking the battery out, leaving it for a couple of hours, put battery back in and switch on. It's worked fine ever since.
Guest James Posted July 19, 2007 Report Posted July 19, 2007 Also, a firend of mine had the same problem, got a new one
