Guest Ross d Posted June 10, 2007 Report Posted June 10, 2007 My laptop crashed. I have re-built it and the only backup of my email is on my O2 XDA mini s. When I try to synchronize everything from my phone back to my newly installed outlook, everything except my email synchronises. I am told that the email is already set to sync with another device (my laptop before it was re-built). When I open activesync on my XDA, it shows 2 devices that it is syncronizing with. The one that is the laptop before it crashed has the tickbox for email selected. It will not allow me to synchronise email with the new device (laptop since it was fixed) until I remove the tick from the old device (laptop when broken) If I remove the tick from the connection to the old device then there is a warning message prompting me that it will delete all of my email from the device! Basically, I need to get my email back onto my freshly installed outlook without loosing it. Is there any way to do it? Thanks in advance.
Guest chucky.egg Posted June 10, 2007 Report Posted June 10, 2007 Can you just forward it from your Mini S to your mailbox, and then download it on the laptop? That way you can sync again and keep the emails - the only thing you have to remember is not to send replies to yourself
