Just installed Tomtom 5.2

Hey, i installed tomtom 5.2 onto my E650. The program works fine, but the phone does not.. programs seem to time out after about 15 seconds. Backlight doesn't seem to time out anymore.

Weird thing is, when tomtom is running in the background, the phone works perfectly. Then when i exit tomtom, the phone goes weird again!

I have restarted the device after install, that did'nt make a change.

Has anyone had anything like this before?

The phone is app unlocked(via the emailed .cab file)

Any help would be excellent!

Use the search function. This issue was covered weeks ago and there is a decent thread explaining how to solve your backlight issue.

I've got TT 5.2 running fine after backlight fix. Don't have your issue with apps timing out after 15 seconds however.

Thanks for that, i assumed the problem was tomtom specific. Problem solved!

It turned out that me not exiting tomtom properly caused applications to time out.

Serves me right for being lazy i guess!!

could someone post a link to the thread that explains the fix. I have been using the search function for some time now searching on 'tomtom backlight' etc but each time keep getting 1000's posts about tomtom and not about the backlight.
