Guest Samuran Posted June 11, 2007 Report Posted June 11, 2007 Ahoy there! I was looking into HSDPA and found that living in deepest darkest Cornwall there was little chance I'd get it from Orange  no surprise there I thought... So I looked again at the T-Mobile coverage guide, just on the off chance that they had upped there coverage. They hadn't, I was faced with this http://rapidshare.com/files/36554412/tmobcoverage.jpg.html (hosted by rapid share) :P Not what I'd hoped to see. I hope my future is in the shape of a big pink T but thats not going to happen unless they do something about the coverage. I don't even get voice coverage... Ben

Ben There's nothing to stop you grabbing 3 free T-Mobile PAYG SIMs and seeing if you get coverage with one of them in your phone. Personally, I don't believe those maps. It says I should get full 3G coverage at my girlfriends when in reality I'm lucky to get 1 bar of 2G coverage <_< Free SIMs - http://www.t-mobilesimgiveaway.co.uk/ Phil
Guest Samuran Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 Hi I've been looking into the whole T-mob PAYG sim. How does web and walk work on PAYG? I found a bit saying 0.73p Capped at £1 a day does this mean that if i put a tenner on it credit, I could use web and walk all day for a pound? what would I get charged 73p for? How do I go about unlocking my orange M3100? Cheers Ben

Guest Confucious Posted June 15, 2007 Report Posted June 15, 2007 The T-Mob coverage maps are way out of date - their coverage has improved a lot! Having said that PAYG is the way to go to check - make sure it works where you want it too! Having said that I'm not sure about the south west - Orange always used to be just about the only option in that part of the country - hope for your sake it's changed! The £1 is a cap - unlike Orange you don't have to request it, you just can't get charged more than £1 for data in a day on PAYG. Here bin the south east T coverage is excellent and T is a breath of fresh air after O - I've been with them just over a year and just upgraded to W'n'W Plus to get HSDPA and coz I was worried that 1Gb might not be enough on my Ameo!
