Guest DragonUK Posted March 28, 2003 Report Posted March 28, 2003 :shock: Has anyone had much luck with SPEED READER PLUS! I installed it to my SPV and the trial worked well with no problems. Then I went to the HANDANGO WEBSITE and purchased the B****Y program. Well you guessed it it will not take the password. The twits at HANDANGO and I have exchanged at least 15 Emails about this. The first ten were about did I have my owner information correct with email. I sent them yes exactly what was on my spv screen. Infact I made a screen copy of the owner information and sent it to them. And I only have been in this line of business for 25 years. Finally they sent a email to the people who made this program and I still have not heard from them. Now I noticed the program is missing from the HANDANGO site. What I like about HANDANGO is that if they had a customer service number then I could of rectified this in one call. And when I finally called bt and tracked there number down I recieved a recorded message. There customer service is total C**P. At least with Orange you get a live person at the end of the voice prompts. I have enclosed the email copy that HANDANGO sent to the other company. I am still waitinggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg for a reply, and this was two weeks ago. So if anyone out there has suggestions I would be happy to hear them. Also the SPV I have is decertified. And before anyone comes back on that one I also put this program on a certified SPV and it has the same problem. We (mobiledynamo) have received the corrected file and will be testing it this weekend. Please send an email to MobileDynamo so we can make sure you receive the corrected file (if all goes well) and working registration code. Your frustration in this matter is matched by ours. Also, I must say that Handango is working hard to support customers. Please send an email to [email protected] so we can resolve the issue. We will get you speed reading ASAP :lol:

It is great that MobilDynamo is monitoring this board. I have been going thru this for almost four week with no joy. Being a developer and beta tester on products I appreciated the two responses I recieved. I will monitor the updates on this software............................... AS TO HANDANGO I STILL STICK WITH MY PRIOR ASSESMENT ON CUSTOMER SERVICE............................IT IS WORSE THAN ORANGE.... I have had about 30 programs that I have purchased from HANDANGO and emails is not the way to go. Being involved in City of London Finacial Advisory we need the problems sorted out almost ASAP. Unfortunately waiting for a email which can take up to 24 hours is not the way to go. If a client asks me for a recomendation, Email is not the way to go. I know this policy is used by HANDANGO to save costs. But they should have a customer support number for USA, UK, EU. Also I like to point out allot of companies are trying to do this, but in the long run it will cost them money. I have seen contracts lost due to customer support issues. I have had a few times that this has come up with this particular company and it has also come up on Dale's Board as well. Clients want the problem solved and addressed now instead of later. Also allot of problems can be solved with one phone call. Every Pocket PC and Smartphone have their own situations. I know this due to I have a office full of devices and what works on one device will always have a problem on another. Trading emails back to back is time wasting. The DragonUK
