Guest Paul (MVP) Posted June 14, 2007 Report Posted June 14, 2007 In response to a request by MoDaCo member chucky.egg, I have developed and made available FREE for MoDaCo Plus members a handy little utility called CallHistory2Calendar. Particularly useful for those who need to keep track of their calls, perhaps for charging back to an employer, CallHistory2Calendar takes your call history, and each time it changes (i.e. after a call), it inserts it into your calendar as entries in appropriate categories (Calls: All, Calls: Incoming, Calls: Outgoing, Calls: Missed). The application has been tested on WM5 and WM6 Smartphones and Pocket PCs. To find out more, MoDaCo Plus members can visit the CallHistory2Calendar topic in their limited access area. Enjoy! P

Guest mrcomputerman Posted July 20, 2007 Report Posted July 20, 2007 (edited) Any chance this little beauty could be "retrofitted" for Windows Mobile 2003? I'm using an Audiovox PPC-6600 that I love in a way that's illegal in some countries. :) I'm a Modaco Plus member and definetly not a leecher. If retrofitting the application for Windows Mobile 2003 represents a significant time investment, I would be willing to pay you for your time. If you're interested please email me at paul2176(+)gmail.com. I've not coded much for any M$ mobile platforms, but I cannot imagine why this would be difficult to do. I would be interested to know if there are any hurdles that you anticipate that would make this request unfeasible. Thanks in advance, Paul Audiovox PPC-6600 (CDMA) Windows Mobile 2003 (Windows CE 4.21, build 1088) Microsoft ® .Net Compact Framework [2.0.7045.0, 1.0.3316.0] Edited July 30, 2007 by mrcomputerman
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted August 2, 2007 Report Posted August 2, 2007 Quite possibly, let me look into it... P
Guest mrcomputerman Posted October 10, 2007 Report Posted October 10, 2007 I'm into a UTStarcom 6700 and I've got the app loaded and love it (though I'm not particulary fond of the phone - sloooooow). The app appears to be working, my calls appear on my calendar, but I get an error after EVERY call. Please see below: "An unexpected error has occured in CallHistory2Calendar.exe Select Quit and then restart this program, or select Details for more information. The query string is incorrectly formatted. An error message cannot be displayed because an optional resource assembly containing it cannot be found" When I select details, the following is displayed "Error CallHistory2Calendar.exe ArgumentException The query string is incorrectly formatted. An error message cannot be displayed because an optional resource assembly containing it cannot be found at Microsoft.WindowsMobile.PocketOutlook.AppointmentCollection.Restrict() at CallHistory2Calendar.□.□() at CallHistory2Calendar.□.□()" Any ideas? Thank you, mrcomputerman
