Guest rireed Posted June 14, 2007 Report Posted June 14, 2007 (edited) I have run across a couple of things browsing with my smartphone that require the 'alt' key. I'm interested in PPCs with soft keyboards, but the MS site doesn't talk about the ALT key or for that matter, the CTRL key with WM Word. Does anyone know where I can learn about how different PPCs implement these? Thanks, Richard Edited June 14, 2007 by rireed

I Googled till I'm blue and found that the PPCs with touch screens have a virtual keyboard used with the stylus. It seems to have CTRL, but no Alt. Makes sense for Word. IE probably works well enough not to need Alt. Edited June 15, 2007 by rireed
