All day reminder screen won't go away!

I had an all day event (actually a week long holiday) in my calendar.

And as the holiday is tomorrow I started to get the all day reminder screen.

I found this screen a bit annoying, so I deleted the holiday from my calendar but the screen just won't go away. Every time I go back to the home page it pops up and has to be cleared. It's gone from a bit annoying to driving me nuts!

Does anyone have any ideas how to clear this?

I'm using a HTC S710

Seemed to be a fault with a particular version of a home screen I installed. All cleared up now.
