How can I watch 2-3 hrs proper movies on my VarioII

Anyone got any ideas on how can one watch proper movies 2-3 hr long on T-Mobile Vario II?

I know it might be asking a bit too much from a pocket pc, but it did be very interesting to know if there was way to do this?

You can scale down a DVD using I think it's DVD Ripper from IMTOO. It's watchable, just a bit on the small side.

Should take a movie down to about 200MB - 250MB. Not sure about a 3 hour one.

A 2GB microSD card is a must buy, imho, if you don't already have one. I got mine from Scan.

What I meant to tell you about was a product called DVD to Pocket PC 4.0 from Makayama.

DVD Ripper lets you convert the movie on the DVD to various formats, but still leaves you with quite a large file.

there a number of ways of doing this - i use Smartripper and PocketDivx Encoder and then a Divx Movie Player.

I squished Superman Returns down to about 400meg with excellent visual and sound quality. Have only ever watched about an hour of it and it does knock the battery down a fair bit - mainly cos the backlight is on all the time.
