Useful Tip: Easy Toggle On/Off for Wifi, Bluetooth etc

I was playing with the Speed Dial and accidentally did this.

I'd set Comm Manager as Speed Dial 2, but when I pressed and held 2 from the Homescreen, not only did it load Comm Manager, but it also activated option 2 inside Comm Manager too, so it turned off "Phone".

Then I figured you could do the same for Wifi, Bluetooth, etc (but not flight mode as speed dial 1 is used for Voicemail)

Setup Comm Manager as Speed Dial for the following keys:-

(Start >Highlight "Comm Manager" > Hit "right soft key", select "1. Add Speed Dial")

Add Comm Manager to key 2 in the "Keypad assignment" field

Do this for all the following keys:

2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8

Then on the homescreen you can press and hold any of the above keys, to load up Comm Manager and activate/deactivate that option.

E.g

Press and hold 3, it will load Comm Manager and switch on bluetooth (or off it's it is currently on)

Press and hold 4, it will load Comm Manager and switch on WiFi (or off it's it is currently on)

Simple and easy. :rolleyes:
