Guest Leela Posted June 21, 2007 Report Posted June 21, 2007 I am going away and would like to take my Outlook personal folders with me on my mobile device so that I can refer to them whilst on the move. Is there a way you can simply add PST files to the existing mail program somehow? Or does anyone know of a piece of software that can do this? I have tried searching, but have had zero success. ooh, should point out that I am using WM5. Many thanks in advance Rachel
Guest jimbouk Posted June 21, 2007 Report Posted June 21, 2007 If you have an exchange server, you can choose which folders to sync. Cant you do that if you are syncing with Outlook?
Guest spacerace Posted June 21, 2007 Report Posted June 21, 2007 yup. just sync the sub-folders across. no way I know of to natively view a PST on WM
Guest Leela Posted June 22, 2007 Report Posted June 22, 2007 hmm, how odd. I have activesync 4.5 and it does not show personal folders in the folder list to sync :/ So, I tried moving personal folders into my exchange based mailbox, and although it syncs and the folders are there, the mails are not. Any other ideas? Thanks Rach

Thanks Rach Taken from this link: To select the folders you want to synchronize using ActiveSync, click on the Options icon, select Inbox from the Mobile Device list, click on the Settings button. This pops up the Mail Synchronization dialog box, which lets you select the Inbox folders you want to synchronize. But remember that these devices do not have unlimited memory so be careful not to select too much info. Hope this helps. Sorry but I've been using Exchange Server ActiveSync for about 3 years now so really can't remember desktop ActiveSync settings anymore. I don't even have AS installed on my PC otherwise I would give you more detailed help!
