Change Text color on Info and other alert windows

Hello everyone. I'm working on a new homescreen and I have ran into a problem that I've had since I began making them.

I'm hoping W4lly or someone can help me out here.

You know the "Info" screen that pops up for instance when you have your phone locked and you click the unlock button? Well, the text in there is black, seemingly no matter what I change the values to in my xml document.

Can someone tell me how to change that or do I have to make a banner accross my image that will allow the text to properly show up?
