Map software, need help

I've noticed that Google Maps have launched a version for Win Mobile devices, but it runs based on an internet connection.

I@m trying to find software that would make use of a static map.

Mapopolis seem to be very near to what I want, but I can't seem to find the option for post-code searching (I only need the map for London) and I don't want to buy it if it doesn't have that.

Are there any other static maps apps out there, possibly freeware, that allow for postcode searching?
