DVB-T/H TV

Ok heres my scenerio, I want to purchase the Gsmart T600 which has DVB-T/H digital receiver but i live in Houston Texas and i dont even know if we have it here in the USA. Does anyone know if Houston or USA has these signals. I dont want to purchase this expensive phone and not be able to use the TV function. I read about a DVB-H provider callled Modeo thats located in Houston but not sure if i needed to suscribe to thier service or not, will the T600 auto pick up their DVB-H signals without service? Thanks.
