Guest bigfellahull Posted June 24, 2007 Report Posted June 24, 2007 Hi, I just installed Pauls debrand & fix .5 and also Windows Live Messenger. I then installed and then uninstalled live messenger and the device had to reset. Now when the phone boots up it stalls on the orange logo screen. Its been on this screen for about 10 minutes and doesnt seem it is going to start. The device does not respond to any key presses and I have to remove the battery to turn the device off. Any ideas why this is and if there is any way to fix it?
Guest Pr0sper Posted June 24, 2007 Report Posted June 24, 2007 Hardreset. I've had this twice.. But after messing up a homescreen, so it was self-inflicted .. :)
Guest paholman Posted June 25, 2007 Report Posted June 25, 2007 I've had this a few times, mainly noticed it when using Sprite Backup to take a backup. When it reboots the device (either before or after the backup) it occasionally hangs at the same point described above. Pulling the battery, and switching back on gets around it. Recently though, my last backups worked fine, without the issue. Strange
Guest JuzzyD Posted June 25, 2007 Report Posted June 25, 2007 Mine does this most times I switch it on (I've only debranded it and I've not installed Windows Live nor Sprite Backup) - as above removing the battery then trying again allows it to start. Would love to know why!
