Guest Nelson0000 Posted June 24, 2007 Report Posted June 24, 2007 Hi All, Just got me my s710 (replacement for Eten M700,, Never again) and im quite impressed with it. Only thing is im trying to change the sms text tone to one of my own .wav ones but as soon i i go into settings "sounds" to change it i cant find it. I have gone into Task Manager and moved the file .wav to Windows folder where i can see the other sms alert tone but still no joy. Any help on this would be great Thanks in Advance
Guest Disco Stu Posted June 24, 2007 Report Posted June 24, 2007 It needs to be in \Application Data \Sounds on the phone itself. I assume you've used the wav files before and that they're PCM-format.
Guest conan_troutman Posted June 24, 2007 Report Posted June 24, 2007 you can also place them in /My Documents and /Storage card/My Documents and as Disco Stu says must be formatted correctly for the phone to use them..I dont know how to do it I just know some of my wav files play and others don't
Guest Nelson0000 Posted June 24, 2007 Report Posted June 24, 2007 Disco Stu / conan_troutman Cheers for your replies will try the wav file in those folders i presume the file is ok as it plays normally in on the windows media player on the phone
Guest Nelson0000 Posted June 24, 2007 Report Posted June 24, 2007 All sorted now... when in \Application Data \Sounds folder Cheers guys
