Guest simon211175 Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 Had an email last week regarding upgrades at T-Mobile. They said they are currently testing the "T-Mobile MDA Touch" and "T-Mobile MDA Vario III". The Touch is clearly the HTC Touch, and I think the Vario III is the Kaiser. Don't know if any of that is common knowledge amongst PPC users, just thought I'd share.

T-mobile were at the launch of the HTC Touch and T-mobile Germany came out with a press release about the Vario III. so i Think most people following T-mobiles coming soon phones will know about it. however the fact you got an email about it means it's not just speculation. does the email give any realise dates? i'm out of contract with T-mobile and holding on to upgread...
Guest simon211175 Posted June 27, 2007 Report Posted June 27, 2007 I told them I was leaving when my contract was up in August because they couldn't offer me anything decent in the way of smarpthones. They emailed back and said these two were currently being tested, so I'm guessing it won't be too long.

But you must realise that whenever you phone any network's customer service what you want is always just about to be introduced! "I want flat rate data" - "Of course Sir, we will be introducing that shortly (Orange)" or "I want a Vario III" - "Ah yes, I think that's coming soon (T-Mobile)". Take it with a pinch of salt, if they can make you wait 3-4 months on an expired contract they are laughing all the way to the bank.
Guest simon211175 Posted June 27, 2007 Report Posted June 27, 2007 I agree, although neither of these are what I want, or what I asked them for. :)
