Outlook not sending email...

My WM5 (SPV M3100) SOMETIMES sends email, but sometimes DOESN'T. I have it set up with an exchange server, and everything seems to send ok, and EVERYTHING appears in the "Sent items" folder ON THE SERVER, but NOTHING appears in my WM5 Sent Items.

Have tried over and over to my home email address, and tried a few others, of which about 50% of them go through, but some don't even reach the destination even though the items appear as sent in my exchange sent folder.

so, 1: Any idea why some aren't getting sent?

and 2: Any idea why nothing appears in my WM5 sent items folder.

Which Exchange Server system are you using- your own, or a 3rd party?

If teh message is reaching the Exchange Sever but not going further, it suggests an Exchange error rather then the device?

Re the Sent Items- silly question, but have you enabled 'Sent Items' to sync in the Folder Options for the Exchange Inbox?- it is disabled by default.

Own Exchange server, can't quite tell where the fault is yet.

Also, I can't find where to enable sent items to sync with exchange.???

Messaging/Outlook Email/Menu/Tools/Manage Folders

The Sent Items has a checkbox, as do all the subfolders in Inbox, if you expand it.

Or you can select folders to sync in activesync/wmdc on your pc.

When you send an email, it wont appear in sent items until you resync anyway - as it wasnt in the sent items on the server when you sent it (if that makes sense)

I use an Exchange Server (4Smartphone) and have the PPC set to Send Immediately. The action of the Email Send prompts an immediate sync, so the email is sent, and appears at that point in Sent Items.

Still can't get WDMC to sync reliably with my Trinity/WM6 :)
