Guest kev_ro Posted June 28, 2007 Report Posted June 28, 2007 The registry settings that i thought would control the conversion size of video using wmp seem to be missing. Before upgrading to the Vox i had an SMT5600 that I was able to tweak to allow full screen video by changing the PreferredHeight and PreferredWidth for each video codec under \HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\ASFCodecs\Video. However, on my Vox the Video file does not even exist. I tried creating the settings by copying the settings found on the SMT5600 but this did not work. Does anyone have the video settings present on their Vox to share or any ideas on how to proceed?

Guest kev_ro Posted August 31, 2007 Report Posted August 31, 2007 in mine there is an option to play it in full screen go into windows media player press menu>options>video nd the setting is right there Thanks for your reply, I've tried this and it does make the video go to full screen mode however the video does not take up the full screen. Do you know what your registry settings are under HKEY_Local_Machine\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\ASFCodecs\Video? I'm not sure this is where the answer was but on WM2003 this was where you could add a setting for PreferredHeight and PreferredWidth to control how wmp synced video. Thanks for any help.
