Guest wivaku Posted June 29, 2007 Report Posted June 29, 2007 The context: I want to use connection / access point A most of the time and connection / access point B when roaming. The question: how do I switch between connections? The background: When going to Settings > GPRS (on my HTC S710/Vox smartphone), I can create multiple connections, let's say ConnectionA and ConnectionB. In this example they are both connecting to the Internet, only the access point is different. Which of these two will be used? How can I select which one should be used? The example I am using is needed for my Vodafone account, where they require me to use live.vodafone.com when local and office.vodafone.com when roaming. Related question, but less important: I downloaded the HTC .cab file with automatic provider network settings, when I look inside the settings for connection "Vodafone GPRS", I see the field "Connects to:" field, which holds the value "Vodafone live" (also available: "The Internet", The WAP network", etc.) How can I modify/see what the settings are for these "Connects to:" values? On my PPC I could view/edit those settings, can not figure out how to do that on my smartphone. -Winfred
