Guest slamming_sammy1 Posted June 29, 2007 Report Posted June 29, 2007 Hi folks, what version of USB does the 2125 have? I have the audiovox smt 5600 and it's USB 1.x and it's quite slow when transferring files to my phone, I can take out the storage card and this would be much faster but i have to turn off my phone. so i'm looking for something that would allow me to transfer files faster (w/out having to open up my phone), of couse I could go to a bigger, bulkier ones that has the memory slot on the outside but i'd rather stay w/ a smaller phone. thanks.

Guest greenturtle Posted July 6, 2007 Report Posted July 6, 2007 Its a freeware app that one guy on the forum developed because he is a saint :) http://www.modaco.com/downloads.html&showfile=1702 Once activated and plugged into a PC the computer recognises it as a removable drive, however the device then thinks there is no storage card but that's just how it works. Other wise its a very good alternative to active sync for dragging and dropping.

Guest greenturtle Posted July 16, 2007 Report Posted July 16, 2007 This just means what it means - some devices/firmwares have problems with WM5torage, and on some it won't work at all (notably on Typhoon/Feeler/C500/8010/8020 with "unofficial" WM5). That might have something to do with it :) However I believe that wm5storage will work with the *cough* unofficial wm6 htc typhoon update *cough* :P
