Guest porktree Posted July 4, 2007 Report Posted July 4, 2007 Ok, I did lot's of slick homescreens for my sda - editing the xml file and adding plugins etc etc. Now I have an MDA, and I can't find the xml file to edit, and the location for the homescreen files isn't there? I searched around and cant' find anything about customizing the MDA, can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks.
Guest Disco Stu Posted July 4, 2007 Report Posted July 4, 2007 The SDA is a Smartphone whereas the MDA is a Pocket PC. PPCs use homescreens that come as simple files with .tsk extension. We have some in the equivalent Customisation section here and also in our Downloads section. There are commercial skin editors for PPC (I used KamWare) but I'm not aware of a great deal of activity where people are doing it manually. You could try opening a tsk file with Notepad and seeing if any of it makes sense to you. PDAgold is the best resource for PPC skins I know of.
