Guest FragaL
Morning all I've got a S710 (vox) which is working great apart from the fact the screen never goes on standby (blank) to save the battery unless I lock the keypad. I have changed the timer to 30secs, 1min etc but it just dimms after the backlight timer then stays on, unless I lock the keys. Can anyone help as I'm having to lock the keys each time in order to save my battery life. Thanks PS: If anyone also know how to configure o2 MMS on this device that would be a great help, ive sorted the Mobile Web (GPRS) but cannot get MMS to work. Cheers :) Hi Basically you need to amend a regisrty key to amend the default timeout. Mine was setting to something really high due to TCPMP i believe. If you check out this post its all on here.... http://www.modaco.com/index.php?showtopic=...display+timeout Cheers

Guest francois51
My experience with the V1415 was that I had the backlight staying on all the time AFTER I installed TomTom 5.2. Last night I installed TomTom 6 and now the backlight goes off nicely. I cant access the registry to my phone for some reason so I couldnt change the registry settings. Im still working on activating TT6 at the mo.
